This is the homepage of the 2021 Cal Poly Pomona senior project, I-5 North Coast Corridor San Elijo Lagoon Improvement Project. This project is a design-build project which entails designing and constructing a replacement bridge, two direct access ramps (DAR), and a pedestrian bridge in Southern California while following all standards outlined by Caltrans and AASHTO. This website was created to showcase the planning, design, and construction plans that was done by Cal Poly Pomona graduating students over the course of 9 months. Guided by our advisors, industry professionals, and our knowledge gained from previous courses, we were able to accomplish a design-build of major bridges from a current project (Skanska page, Flatiron page). The project was completed over the Fall and Spring semesters from August to May 2020-2021.

Disclaimer: This website was created to showcase a Cal Poly Pomona Senior Project and is not affiliated with the actual San Elijo Bridge Construction Project. This website was made for academic purposes only and to display the work done by students involved with this Senior Project.
